USAT Youth/Junior Development Races The TRIBAL SPRINT TRIATHLON has been selected by the Southwest Region of USAT to be part of the Junior Development    Series.  Junior Development Races provide    athletes a gateway into the developmental pipeline and provides a showcase for    junior athletes to demonstrate their skill and passion for the sport of    triathlon.   Athletes will experience triathlon in its traditional,    non-drafting format, officiated using USA Triathlon Rules. Junior Development    Races are typically sprint-distance and have been selected because of their    "junior-friendly" atmosphere and age-appropriateness. Results will be reported    to USAT. Youth,    age 12-15, and Juniors, age 16-19, will have their own division at the TRIBAL SPRINT TRIATHLON.   There is no need to do any special entry procedure.     Simply enter the youth sprint triathlon at the special entry fee and you will    be automatically entered into the Youth/Junior Development Race.
