TIMING
The Tour de Scottsdale is timed using a separate time/place software system. Our timing system relys on athletes leaving the finish chute in the same order they came across the finish line. The finish chute is 1/4 mile long, please remember to leave the finish chute in the same order you crossed the finish line. Timing volunteers will take the race number tab we have provided you with your registration packet.

BANDITS
The Tour de Scottsdale is a CHARITY event, with proceeds benifiting the McDowell Sonoran Conservancy, Rebuiding Together and the DC Ranch Community Foundation. We can't control BANDITS (Folks who ride the race without paying); we only hope that the riders who have paid draw some negative attention to the BANDITS. In years past a BANDIT caused an accident in the lead pack impacting the finish order of the individuals who might have placed. BANDITS that DO cross the finish line will be photographed and handed an invoice for $125. Any cyclists representing a team or club; the representing team or club will be banned from participation in future Tour de Scottsdale events.
