What's up with the Facebook Connect?

Facebook Connect is a simple registration and sign in method that instantly signs you in to your DCB Extreme Adventures account when you are already signed in to Facebook.  This allows you to browse through your favorite sites and not have to worry about signing in to each one over and over again.  It's a simpler way to browse the internet.

So...  How do I connect my DCB account to Facebook?

Simply click the Facebook Connect button that you see in various areas of the site.  Facebook will ask you to make sure it's OK for us to access some of your information.  Once you approve the relationship, you're all set!  If you already have a DCB account (we check based on your email address), you'll be logged into the site each time you visit DCB Extreme Adventures.  If you're not a member, we create a basic profile for you with your Facebook email address and some basic information.

Are you gonna start posting a bunch of stuff on my Facebook wall?

Heck no!  We really like Facebook Connect for the simple sign in process and ease of use with DCB Extreme Adventures.  At times we will ask you if you want us to post a message to your wall (like when you sign up for an event) but we'll never do it without your explicit consent. 

What if I connect and then decide I want to disconnect?

Disconnecting from the DCB Extreme Adventures site is easy.  All you need to do is sign in to your Facebook account.  In the upper right corner click on the "Account" button and then select "Application Settings".  You'll see DCB Extreme Adventures in the list.  Just click the "x" on the right side and voila, disconnected!
