FIRST RUN LEG - 3.6 Miles

The start will be on-road and transition to the trail. This fast, fun and scenic course will have you wishing for more.

MAP

ROAD BIKE - 30 Miles

This is the same course used in the past, where you head out the park, only this time head towards Fountain Hills, turn around and head north to the same u-turn before Rio Verde, then back to the park and loop the roads in the park then home to transition. It’s rolly, and a great opportunity for the cyclist to put some distance on the runners. Junior racers will do the 13 mile in-park road loop only.

MAP

MOUNTAIN BIKE - 19 Miles

For the OFF-ROAD Duathletes, this course is a treat. McDowell Mountain Regional Park is a mecca for mountain bikers. Over 60% of the visitors to this park are mountain biking the trails within the park.  The course we'll be using will use some of the trails/access roads at the competiton track as well as several miles of the Pemberton trail. The return trip is on the road so you can taunt the road duathletes!

MAP

SECOND RUN LEG - 3.75 Miles

After tearing up the bike, the final run leg will be almost all trails. This course will leave an impression, guaranteed! It's shorter than loast year, but hilly, so I think you'll be happy.

Aid Stations

The venue will have plenty of water and hydration drink. We will have a water/hydration station at the entrance and exit of the transition, as well out ont he run courses.

Please be very cautious when using gels, gu’s and blocks. While the occasional accidental dropping of a gel packet may be forgiven, we want to try and eliminate the impact to old mother nature, Maricopa County Parks and especially the DCB staff & volunteers.
